Welcome to Kit's Kayak Crusades of North Vancouver, B.C..
From pristine old-growth forests to countless mazes of ocean inlets, British Columbia is rich with natural beauty. The best way to enjoy this beauty is from the cabin of a kayak. Kayaking is a form of exploration that the aboriginal people have long used to navigate the B.C. waters. At Kit’s Kayak Crusades, we paddle in modernized versions of the natives’ ancient vessels; always placing heightened emphasis on safety and enjoyment. Our guides are always excited to take a group out for their first kayaking experience; whether it be a day trip in Deep Cove or a multi-day trip to one of Vancouver Island’s great escapes, paddling in our top-of-the-line Nimbus kayaks is sure to be an adventure. We travel places that are inaccessible by roads and hiking trails and want to invite everyone to share in the explorations. We therefore can customize our trips to accommodate your needs and abilities.

Day Trips for Seniors And Those Slightly Disabled
A great way for interested seniors or disabled people to begin their kayaking adventures is with one of our day trips to Deep Cove. This is a great way for any inexperienced kayaker to “test the waters.” We encourage elderly members of the Vancouver community as well as disabled people to come kayaking with us in order to see some of the beautiful landscape in their own backyard. The same experienced and knowledgeable guides that host our overnight outings host these trips and you can expect to learn plenty about the sport and your natural surroundings. Day trips are great for groups of all sizes so don’t forget to bring your friends! Day / Night Kayak Tours...
Extended Seniors Day Trips & Multi Day Tours
Multi-day trips are the most exciting tours we offer and as usual, we don’t want anybody to miss out on the fun! We provide everything from the camping gear and kayaks, to meals, a photographer and get this, your own personal chef! The amount we paddle on each trip is determined by the needs and abilities of our clients and we encourage elderly or disabled clients to contact us in order to help them customize a trip that accommodates their needs. The many years our guides have spent paddling through B.C. waters has led them to believe that everybody should have the chance to slice the still water of Hotham Sound or see the world-renowned orca population in Johnstone Strait. Our mentality is that if there is a will then there is a way…. so call us and let us make your kayaking dreams come true!
Group Instruction & Lessons for Slightly Disabled and Seniors
Kit’s Kayak Crusades is based in North Vancouver, just 15 minutes from downtown and easily accessible from throughout the lower mainland. We offer group instruction and lessons on a daily basis and invite anyone to come out to learn more about the increasingly popular sport of kayaking. Through our years, we have taught kayaking to several senior citizens and disabled members such as paraplegics, mental ill and mentally disabled people of the community. We are confident in our ability to accommodate anyone and invite the elderly or disabled to join in one of our casual kayaking clinics. The clinic is taught outdoors, at water’s edge, and can include actual time on the water. Our instructors’ combined teaching experience is over 30 years and their past students include people of all ability levels. Lessons...
